Cooper’s Ridge, a rustic and charming wedding venue, needed a website that captured the beauty of the business’s picturesque setting. The design for the Cooper’s Ridge website was greatly influenced by the venue itself. A blend of rustic and outdoor colors with a modern simplistic layout tied to a focus on negative space. We wanted to lighten up the design from the previous one and provide additional spaces where large photography could shine. Hints of green with large slab serif headings create an enjoyable viewing experience for a user who is hoping to find the perfect place for their wedding or next hosted event.
One of the features that was important to the client was a better Photo Gallery that what they previously had. Because they host so many types of events, we decided to create galleries for each category of event, then added filtering options so the website visitor could select the types of event photos they want to view.
