Easy Drug Card provides “lower-of pricing” on prescriptions. This means that when you go to the pharmacy you will be guaranteed to get the lowest possible price for your medication so you’ll never pay more using their card.
While Easy Drug Card may provide superior prescription discounts to it’s customers, their branding and website were slightly out of date. To help reflect its modern and valuable business strategy, EDC approached VEA with the goal of an easy-to-manage website that was intuitive and easy to use for users. Building the site using WordPress as the content management system gave the EDC administrators a simple tool to manage content and imagery on the website while providing a seamless front-end user experience.
A big piece of the puzzle was creating a drug pricing tool that quickly found users local pharmacies with the lowest price for their prescriptions. To accomplish this we needed to connect to two seperate APIs and tie them into the drug pricing tool. Connecting these to give the user a seamless experience was no small feat but the end product is a tool that is useful and fast!
Easy Drug Card saw increases in site traffic and downloads all while reducing their cost per download. Through the use of Google Adwords and Meta Ad Campaigns to drive users to the site then used programmatic display to heavily retarget users who have shown interest.
