CJ is a musician, husband, and cat dad with an inquisitive spirit. Thanks to his drive to chase his passions and ever-expanding interests, he has had many opportunities to explore life as a performer on stage and in several marketing roles. CJ is a St. Charles, MO native who relocated to Columbia, MO to pursue music and journalism degrees. After graduating, he found himself working on digital ads for St. Louis music venues and playing trumpet and synth in a local band. In order to balance both his musical and marketing pursuits, he continues to build on his freelance experience by working with a variety of clients ranging from government agencies to small, local businesses.
CJ handles various tasks at VEA Technologies, such as building ad campaigns, tweaking SEO targeting, general digital ad management and copywriting. CJ’s favorite aspect of working in marketing is finding the sweet spot where strategy & content work together perfectly. Regardless of what areas of the business he is working in, he enjoys finding new ways to help businesses incorporate their story, personality, and goals into a cohesive strategy.
When he’s not spending time glued to his computer screen, you can most likely find him taking coffee-making way too seriously, logged into Playstation, or playing jazz and bleep-bloop music with his friends.
